This program calculates stresses in a circle formed plate according to S.Schwaigerers ''Festigkeitsberechnung im Dampfkessel–, Behälter– und Rohrleitungsbau''.
Properties of the plate:
In this table you need to enter measures of a plate such as radius r1, thickness h, production tolerances c1o and c1u. There is also a possibility to calculate stresses in a plate with multiple openings. In this case you need to enter a hole diameter dL and hole pitch t. In the field Boundary conditions choose an appropriate kind of storage.
Loadings:
Here you can make calculations for up to 24 load cases. To the listed in the table loading conditions you need to enter appropriate values for each load case. Fields with not applicable loading conditions can be left empty (for example, if wear supplement = 0).
Variants of superposition:
In the table of superposition variants you find all load cases listed in the left column. First mark each load case and then use Insert or Delete button to put it in the Variant column. It is possible to define up to 12 variants of superposition with any desired number of load cases.
Below Insert/Delete buttons there are three fields to fill in. In the Allowable stress field you need to enter an appropriate allowable stress for each variant.
The program takes automatically the highest temperature among the chosen load cases and inserts it in the Temperature field.
